Last week I shared about how God has chosen us all to do something about defeating the injustice in our world. This doesn’t mean we all have to quit our jobs and go on mission trips. No, I believe God has positioned us all, given us strategic desires, passions, gifts and abilities to bring light, hope and rescue to the weak and oppressed.
When I realized this 2 years ago, I never imagined that God could use me, this little blond girl from Miami, FL, to rescue women and children around the world. God took my empty hands and passionate heart and used them to do His work and bring Him glory. I don’t keep track of how much money I’ve raised, how many fundraiser’s I’ve held, or how many church, schools, groups I’ve spoken to- but I will never stop counting how many slaves have been set free in these past 2 years: 239, a number that represents the Power of God against the forces of darkness.
I could sit here and write an incredibly inspirational piece about why God has called us to defend the oppressed, but it would do you no good unless you realize that you must be the one to take action.
You see friend, it’s imperative that you recognize your God given potential and worth. Pearl Alliance is counting on you to realize and step into your calling. We are here for you, praying for you and want to empower you to help others. But it all begins where you are and with you asking yourself, “what can I do.”
Perhaps you’ve contacted us about doing a fundraiser or awareness event, but gave it up and lost contact once things got challenging and the excitement faded. Or maybe you’ve wanted to get involved, but have been hesitant. Well, if so I want to encourage you to realize your dream once again!
Last week I told you I had an announcement to make. I am so excited to inform you that this summer I will be stepping foot on beautiful Cambodian soil to bring light, hope and rescue to a land filled with darkness. This will be my first time taking part in a human trafficking rescue mission. It will be risky, but I find courage in knowing that the Power of God is greater than even the darkest of evil. God’s hand of protection is over me and I am not afraid.
So dear world changers, I want to thank you for being a part of this beautiful rescue mission with us. I believe that there is greatness in you to change this world and make a significant impact in the defeat against human trafficking. So I encourage you, don’t hesitate, do something.

Im beginning to understand how important it is to love one another just the way the Lord loved us and gave his life up for us. He knows us intimately and personally and loves us regardless of our past failures. We must remain in him so that he may fullfill his promises through us.
